I now headed to Dotonbori, a food district on a river. This area is known for some of its advertisements like the ever-famous Glico Running Man.

The main reason I was interested in Dotonbori was to find some of the locations featured in the Yakuza game series. The only one that I did run across that was immediately identifiable to me was the giant crab.
Nothing else specific was really around, but it did feel familiar to the streets in the games.

My friends joined me a bit later and we visited the local Don Quixote. Which features the only ovular ferris wheel in the world.
This “wheel” goes up 77 meters (~252 feet) and gives a nice view of the city.
