It was time for me to make the pilgrimage to the second Evangelion store, Radio Eva in Shibuya.
Shibuya is very busy at all times. I fear how bad it is on a holiday.
Radio Eva is a high-ish fashion brand based on, you guessed it, Evangelion. A lot of their stuff is a bit much, but there are some tastefully subtle pieces there as well. Unfortunately, both of the things I was interested in were out of stock in my size. Something for an online order at a later date, it seems.
While wandering around various arcades I stumbled upon the obvious choices for some keychains.
I was later joined by one of the group and we made our way to check out the Tower Records. This is a massive 8 story music store. Selling both new and second hand (which in Japan might as well be new) CDs, vinyl, Blu-rays, etc. Truly living up to their “No music, No life” mantra.
Afterwards we did head once again to Akiba for a meetup. So here is a bonus Akiba nighttime photo.
