A park in Miyagi Prefecture ~3.5 hours north of Tokyo by Shinkansen. Home to many free-roaming foxes.


One of Tokyo’s first public parks established in 1873. Well-known as a viewing spot for the Cherry Blossoms.
Japan’s oldest Zoo established in 1882, featuring over 2,600 animals. Located within Ueno Park.


A cafe in Kichijoji that has a Capybara and multiple cats.
A store that specializes in collaborations to create glasses that appear in anime or are based on anime.

One of a seemingly infinite number of places where you can find gachapon machines. Basically small mystery item machines.
Massive store featuring every Gundam model kit ever produced (over 2000). Also has a life-sized Gundam Unicorn out front (pictured here).


Large complex dedicated to the Gundam franchise, currently featuring yet another life-sized Gundam RX-78.
Multi-floor miniature museum with an insane level of detail. Features a full airport plus terminal, an entire section based on Evangelion, and more. (The image shown is one of the miniatures)


Immersive art museum known for futuristic, digital art installations and numerous “grammable” spots.
The “electric town” that is the center for anime and gaming fans.


A use tire/wheel store that is well-known for having over 100 vending machines. A majority of which are from the 70s and 80s.
Probably not going there, but it would be fun.
Some place in Tokyo that is high up
There are many choices, who knows which we will choose.


Another Evangelion store, but located in Hakone, where Evangelion’s Tokyo-3 is based on. This store features some more traditional Japanese items themed after the anime.
Active volcanic zone created by the last eruption of Mt. Hakone ~3000 years ago. Accessible by cable car and very sulfurous.


Japan’s longest pedestrian suspension bridge. Over 400m long. Why? ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
Theme park and movie set based in the Edo era of Japan. Also inexplicably features a life-sized Evangelion Unit-01, which is the real reason I must go there.


Large park in Osaka known for its numerous wild deer that are mostly friendly. Also features ancient temples, giant Budda, and more.
Entertainment district in Osaka. Heavily featured in the Yakuza video game series.


Decent sized zoo and flower garden located on the artificial Port Island.

A fishing port town south of Hakone. Featured as the setting of the series Love Live! Sunshine!!
