Hotel 4

Our final hotel was a unique place located right under the tracks of the JR lines. They make you sign a paper acknowledging that the hotel is under the rails, and you will hear the trains. And this would make you think it’s going to be really loud. But it really wasn’t.

Like I noticed the trains going over us, but it never bothered me, nor did it seem very loud. Just a bit of a rumble. Things on the street next to us were louder than the trains if I’m being honest.

Since I was travelling separate from my friends due to my Kyoto detour. I arrived at the room first. We were sharing this room since we were only going to be here for the night as our flights left the next day. I think it was suitable for that, between all of us the room quickly filled with luggage, which was fun to sort in here. And the unit bathroom this room had was definitely smaller than the one in Ueno.
