I was pretty dead by this day for a handful of reasons. But we did visit nearby Kanda Shrine. This shrine is prominently featured in the series Love Live, a series and me and my friend enjoy.

Shortly after returning from Kanda, it was time for my friend’s taxi to Narita airport. So, they went on their way, and I relaxed in the lobby/cafe of the hotel for a couple hours before heading out with my luggage to the train to Haneda.
I arrived about 3.5 hours early, which is excessive, but I wasn’t feeling amazing and just wanted to get there and nap at the gate.
Checking in bags took no time at all, and once I found security, that was pretty quick once through the line. Thankfully Haneda Terminal 3 recently got new scanners and don’t require you to remove electronics anymore. It very much feels like a TSA Pre-Check line.
It was a very long walk to the gate, as it was the very last gate in the terminal and I did exactly what I said I would do, I had a nap.

This time around I wasn’t in Premium Plus seats, just Economy Plus. So, I was curious what and how much food they would give us considering what I got on the flight to.
It obviously wasn’t as fancy, but they did feed us three times.
The first meal was chicken & rice, bread, some ice-cold noodles, and a mochi ball filled with red bean paste.

The next meal hours later was the “light snack”: 2 small ham and cheese rolls, some crispy bread/sourdough things (I’m not 100% what these were), and a KitKat that I think is still in my jacket pocket.
Just an hour before our flight was to land, we got a breakfast. I had an omelet that certainly contained something, a sausage, a very plain hashbrown, and some butter cookies.

The flight was fine aside from just general not feeling well. I definitely come to have appreciated some of the things that my fancy seat on the first flight had. Mainly the footrest and raisable calf support. It made a major difference to managing the discomfort your butt gets after such a long time.
